Injectable Threadlift™ Before and After Photos
The Injectable Thread Lift™, falls into the catergory of a non-surgical facelift. It works by using a combination of injectable dermal fillers in just a few areas of the face to reassign volume to facial features. This ultimately provides a support to fallen skin, lifting the skin up so the effects of gravity have less of an aesthetic impact on the face. The procedure “arcs” the skin using a continuous thread with a column-like structure under the dermis, which works to prevent skin folds and creases. This typically results in the restoration of the skin’s structural support and the redirection of skin to its original placement on the face. The Injectable Thread Lift™ can be performed in under an hour and there is little downtime associated with the procedure.
What areas of the face can the Injectable Thread Lift™ rejuvenate?
The Injectable Thread Lift™ can renew a number of facial areas, including the cheeks and jowls, corners of the mouth, nasolabial region (between the nose and mouth), corners of the mouth to the jaw, and even the lips – giving them a more youthful appearance.
How is the Injectable Thread Lift™ different from standard injectable filler treatments?
This procedure improves upon the ability of traditional dermal filler techniques by adding a few steps. Whereas more standard dermal filler procedures involve the reduction of lines and wrinkles, the Injectable Thread Lift™ works to use the injectable solutions as a system of support, lifting the skin up so that it can prevent common signs of aging from occurring. Results can be long-lasting, and maintained with occasional touch-up treatments.
What about downtime?
One of the chief benefits of the Injectable Thread Lift™ is that discomfort and recovery time are kept to a minimum. Most patients resume their normal daily routines the very next day!
How long do the benefits last?
The duration of the lifted appearance is variable. The time will vary between patients and depends on the degree of skin droop before the lift, the amount of existing sun damage and the other skin qualities. In general the benefits should remain apparent for 6-12 months. Clear communication and pre-injection patient expectations are essential for an excellent outcome however.
